The fresh summer truffle season starts in April and lasts until around the beginning of September. In that period we also receive summer truffles in pieces that we vacuum pack and freeze so they can be available throughout the year. The flavour of this type of truffle is enhanced through the deep freezing process. Handy for use in all kinds of dishes and sauces in which the truffle does not play an important visual role.
