Confectionery: from chocolate to natural aromas

Confectionery in all its forms turns out to be a reason to capitulate to, again and again. It’s hard to say no to sweets offered at the end of a cosy dinner. A cake for a special occasion, chocolate as a main ingredient for comfort food. Our chocolate comes from Original Beans. A sustainable organization that in turn scans the world for special cocoa. But chocolate also comes from the south of Limburg, in the form of bonbons from the much-acclaimed chocolatier Ralph Hagen. And we do have honey, with or without truffle, not only from our capital, but also from the renowned lavender gardens of Roger Bastin. This pastry department also contains a number of high-quality natural flavours from the Parisian spice specialist Thiercelin. We offer the delicious biscuits of pâtissier Jos van Velzen, long ago the pastry chef of the Amstel Hotel. And don't forget the world famous range of unrefined (cane) sugars from Billington's.
