Copperhead Gin is a Belgian premium gin that originated from a partnership between the pharmacist Yvan Vindevogel from Kortrijk and Bernard Fillier, the owner of the Filliers gin distillery. This gin is distilled from juniper berries and some botanicals such as angelica, coriander seed, cardamom and coriander seed. The brand name Copperhead refers to several elements, firstly to the copper boiler in which the alcohol is fired, secondly to a type of hose called the Copperhead that symbolizes pharmacy. Finally, the gin is bottled in black bottles.
