This bergramot oil, also known as bergamot essence, is an essential oil obtained through cold pressing the bergamot peels out of the province Reggio Calabrie. The peels get mechanically pressed thourgh peeling machines. These machines shave off the outside of the fruit underneath running water, this creates an emulsion that goes in a centrifuge that seperates the water and the essence from eachother. This oil mainly smells like lemon, is fresh and sweet with a clear herb-like aftersmell.
