Blankaart

This cheese is the Belgian version of the French Chaource. The Blankaart is smooth under its crust, yet chalky in the middle. It is made from raw, organic cow's milk. The crust is sprinkled with sea salt which enhances the taste of the crust. The chalky centre offers fresher, lighter notes in balance. The Blankaart is produced in its square form only for Kaasaffineurs Van Tricht.

 

This cheese is the Belgian version of the French Chaource.
