Meat products par excellence

Every country has its own traditional sausages and hams but the Italians may well lead the field in terms of creating a collection that makes mouths water far outside the country's borders. This includes the famous hams from Parma, salami sausages, mortadella (the largest sausage in the world), the San Daniele ham, coppa, bresaola and the most exclusive ham from Italy, the culatello di Zibello which uses only the very finest ham, from the pigs rear leg, without a bone and which must then go through a long maturing process.
